My name is Aprylle Salvador, and this is my Senior Research Project. With the help of my advisor, Sister Mary Therese Perez, and two very special friends, Julia and Anita Ayala, I was able to gather information and create this website on the gentrification crisis currently happening in Highland Park. The research that I have conducted and information that I have collected have allowed me to realize that gentrification is a very real and imminent problem for those living in Highland Park - a city so close to home. Gentrification and its effects are much larger than myself and this website, but this platform in which I have chosen to present this information has become very important and eye opening for me. So for that, thank you for reading.
